Expungements
The Lincoln Parish Clerk of Court does not provide any legal advice or technical help to attorneys or pro se applicants regarding the preparation or filing process of expungements. An attorney or pro se applicant must do their own research on the case and decide how to complete the Expungement form. Applicant must have all fees at the time of filing, which are non-refundable.
To file for an expungement, the total cost is $550.00:
- $200.00 money order made payable to Lincoln Parish Clerk of Court
- $250.00 money order made payable to Louisiana Bureau of Criminal Investigation
- $50.00 money order made payable to Lincoln Parish District Attorney's Office
- $50.00 money order made payable to Lincoln Parish Sheriff's Office
For an expungement of a DWI, there are other actions that need to be taken along with the aforementioned steps. The Clerk's Office does not provide any legal advice in order to complete the expungement form(s).
