Lincoln Parish Fire Protection District No. 1

The Lincoln Parish Fire Protection District No. 1 was created for the citizens of Lincoln Parish in 1991. It is responsible for providing fire protection to all of Lincoln Parish except for the incorporated areas of Ruston, Grambling and Choudrant. The Fire District’s central fire station and administrative offices are located on Highway 167 in Vienna. The Fire District, which proudly has a Class 5 rating, maintains a total of 21 fire stations that are strategically placed throughout Lincoln Parish.

The Fire District is made up of 13 full‐time employees and approximately 35 active volunteers who are united with a common goal of helping others and providing the citizens of Lincoln Parish with the best fire protection possible.
